Welcome to our latest round-up of queer celebs who served, and those who came together to maximize their joint slay!
So many things brought us joy this week: Fitness influencers Sam Leicht and Mike DelVlahos used the pull-up bar for a fitness contest inspired by the "red light, green light" game in Netflix thriller "Squid Game;" "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" dancer Kevin Tristan shows off his moves by rolling his hips and twerking in tune with beat for us.
Queer influencer Quen Blackwell sparkled in a spectacular birthday photoshoot inspired by a chandelier; musician Lucy Dacus is saintly and stunning, posing shirtless in the album art for her upcoming album, Forever Is A Feeling. Halsey's been posting a throwbacks to their Manic album era, including the bold, empowering music video for "You should be sad"; Black Peppa's black velvet and pearl embellished outfit at DragCon UK was showstoppingly chic; and professional soccer player and sports presenter Alex Scott was honored by being inducted into the Women's Super League Hall of Fame.
This "Squid Game" inspired workout contest is a joint slay that's almost too competitive and focused, as we watch fitness app entrepreneur Sam Leicht and influencer Mike DelVlahos play 'red light, green light' on the pull-up bar. We say 'almost', because –just like when we're watching the Netflix show– watching this feels as though we should hold our breaths when they must freeze mid-pull-up, but everytime Mike does so, we are treated to a mesmerizing display of his abs flexing, so... You're welcome.
Dancer and "Moulin Rouge! The Musical London" performer Kevin Tristan slays this choreography that has him rolling his hips, leaning back against a wall, and twerking enthusiastically. His confident, sexy dancing is always so captivating –notice how even each shake of his twerk is in time with the beat– giving the idea that while we're watching him intently, he also can't keep his eyes off us.
Queer influencer Quen Blackwell is sparkling and spectacular in this deeply slayful birthday photoshoot to celebrate her 24th birthday. Lucy Dacus, who just dropped a music video starring pansexual actress Havana Rose Liu as the museum security guard whose queer fantasy comes to life when Lucy literally steps out of a painting, and debuted her new single "Ankles" on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, is serving sainthood and timeless beauty with a modern twist in the newly unveiled cover for her upcoming album, Forever Is A Feeling.
Queer musician Halsey celebrating five years of their album Manic by sharing this clip from the music video of their song "You Should be Sad" is a really special moment. In addition to the incredible musical and creative achievements, we'd also like to celebrate how good they looked in this empowering, daring music video. Rocking this black bikini cowboy fit while dancing and belting out their song about reclaiming their body and life after breaking up with someone who sucks... We love to see it!
