EDGE: Do you have a specific genre of content?

Joey Pelletier: I wouldn't say it's too specific, but I go as a trashy Irish-American dad from Boston. I do a lot of threesomes with my partner and I do a lot of gang bang scenes. Joey Pelletier: That's such a good question. When I'm having sex for the camera it's big and ballsy, dramatic. When I'm with my partner it can be real intimate. We take our time, laugh, whisper, enjoy each other. EDGE: Does your family know about your online career?

Joey Pelletier: A couple of my brothers and their wives know. They're really supportive. My brother and his wife live in DC and my partner and I were there working a party recently. We had dinner with them and his wife asked what kind of a party it was. I said, "sex party." She said, "I thought you've always done porn," which opened the door to communication and honesty. And I'm just having such a good time when I'm having any kind of sex, and I think that shows.

EDGE: Have you ever been trolled by anyone?

Joey Pelletier: Yeah, and it's not fun. But my decision has been when I'm being trolled to just not give them the time of day. I don't argue with them. I don't defend myself. What trolls and haters want is for you to engage with them. They live for that, it's their bread and butter. They want you to get to the point where you become so untethered by their vicious remarks that you say something you might regret. They're few and far apart, but when they do come, I just let them go.

EDGE: What's the worst experience you've had?

Joey Pelletier: Honestly, I don't really have anything. I've had mostly good experiences. I've met some amazing people, and they've become good friends. The worst times are when you go to collaborate with someone and they're a little drunk or using drugs. It's not going to be a good scene if one of us is sober and the other is sloppy and all over the place. It happened to me recently. I stuck it out for a little while then I had a friend call me with a fake excuse to get out of there.

EDGE: The fake call is still a thing?

Joey Pelletier: It still works.

EDGE: What's the difference between porn and JustFor.Fans?

Joey Pelletier: JustFor.Fans, is a site where anyone can put their own videos up. You don't have to be working with a studio. You can put your own content up, whatever content you want. EDGE: Is it difficult to film your own stuff?

Joey Pelletier: When I first started, I didn't have anything but a phone and a lamp. I put my phone on the lamp, and I was in business. Now, you should see my bedroom. There's selfie sticks and lighting modules everywhere. I can still do my own, but I can also hire someone or get my partner to do it.

EDGE: Do you have any other sites you use?

Joey Pelletier: I do have OnlyFans and Raw Fuck Club, but I like JustFor.Fans because it gives you a lot of leeway when it comes to what you can put up there. Joey Pelletier: Right now I work with Ryan [Landry], and he is the most supportive person when it comes to us being who we are. He's not the kind of person who's going to say, "You can't do this, or you can't do that, in your personal life." He wants you to be your authentic self. He chooses people, especially actors, to work with him consistently who actually are their authentic selves.

EDGE: Would you recommend JustFor.Fans as a viable side gig for actors?

Joey Pelletier: I think any actor who is looking to make some extra money can do JustFor.Fans. Not necessarily porn, but they can do something that suits their needs. If you're an actor and a good cook, why not cooking videos? It doesn't have to be sexy cooking videos; it can be funny. If you have something you're passionate about, it's a great place to share it with others. You don't have to do a little off the shoulder or pump your tits out to do it. It can work for a variety of really cool things.
