When Channing Tatum got a spray tan on the set of his latest movie, the world took notice. That's because the "Magic Mike" star posted a nearly-nude selfie to his Instagram Stories.

"The 41-year-old actor captured the NSFW portrait while on set of his upcoming film 'The Lost City of D,' which also stars Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe," reports the Daily Mail.

"You know when you in the make-up trailer a**hole naked holding a towel over your junk you about to do some s**t on set that you gonna have to prepare ya mama for before she see the movie," Tatum captioned the hot photo.

"Channing posed before a vanity mirror with a towel over his private area, while a makeup artist seemingly prepared to give him a spray tan," the U.K. outlet noted of Tatum, who obscured his privates with a monkey emoji. (Why not an eggplant?)

"Never one to take himself too seriously, Channing joked that he was 'flexing so hard' for the shot that he 'got a cramp,'" adds the Daily Mail.

It's unclear why Tatum was doing a nude scene for his upcoming film "The Lost City of D," which follows a romance novelist and a model who get thrown into a jungle adventure after a kidnapping attempt gone wrong. The film is slated to release in April 2022.

The photo comes days after an IG post the actor shared on Sunday showed him emerging from the ocean after a swim.

"I have done all kinds of bullshit to get in or stay in shape," Tatum wrote of his workout routine. "Almost everything you can think of. And i have to say nothing yet has been more suffocating and exhausting and effective than freestyle wrestling or open ocean water swimming. There are moments in both that i am always like i think I might die haha."

He continued, "Yup pretty sure i can't go on let go would be better than this. Haha ???? and I'm not even i professional athlete. I can't imagine the depths in which they push themselves. Unreal. I do it for movies Hahahaha very different motivation. Either way get after it everyone. It's good to be alive. There are so many people that can't say that. I'm so blessed."

In a postscript, Tatum threw some shade at his trainer Arin Babaian, the man responsible for helping the star get in shape for the "Magic Mike" films. "P.s as you can see I'm coming in by myself Arin didn't make it. 2mile ocean swim bruh," Tatum quipped.

In an interview with Men's Health, Babain said when he first started working with Tatum, "he was a little overweight, and didn't want to work out... We had to change our plan. We turned our day into a fit lifestyle."

"The trainer's intense workout regimen for Tatum includes a 20 mile bike ride, 10 to 20 laps in the pool, plus water burpees and situps, followed by 400 meters on the treadmill at the gym and several other exercises," according to the Daily Mail.

When he isn't working or working out, Tatum concentrates on his new career as a children's book author. His new book, "The One And Only Sparkella," was inspired by conversations with his 7-year old daughter Everly. To promote his new book, Tatum has shared several pictures on social media of him donning his Sparkella drag, which includes wings and a crown.

For those who don't know, Tatum's book topped the New York Times Bestseller list.

"Say what?!?! #1 on the @NYTimes Bestseller List!! I'm literally speechless right now!!!" he tweeted in response to the literary achievement. "Ten year old me would never believe this. Evie and I want to thank each and every one of you for all of the #Sparkella love. I couldn't be more excited right now! THANK YOU!!"
